『偏頭痛を加速させるのは"体調"と"ストレス"』

若い時から僕を苦しませ続けていた偏頭痛。
日常生活に支障をきたすほどにまでなってしまったこの症状を何とかしたい、そのために僕は、まずは自分に起こっている症状を分析することから始めました。

僕に起こっている症状、よく思い出してみると、僕の偏頭痛は2種類あることに気付きました。
それは、「前触れも無く慢性的に起こるもの」と「あるきっかけを元に予兆と共に起こる突発的なもの」です。
まずは1つ目の慢性的に起こる偏頭痛について話していこうと思います。

偏頭痛が始まったと思われる20代後半にさしかかった頃から、日常的に頭が重く、モヤモヤしてスッキリしないという状態が続いていました。
調子が良いとこの状態を維持できるのですが、ちょっと調子が悪いと頭の重さが急に酷くなり、頭全体がズキズキと痛み始め、時には脳ミソが石になったように重く感じたり、時には血液の流れと同調するかのように脈打つように痛んだりなどしました。

僕を朝布団から起き上がれないほどまでに追い詰めた偏頭痛は、おそらく2つの内のこちらではないかと思います。
1度病院に行って診察してもらったこともあるのですが、状況を説明しても医師からは何の説明や回答もしてもらえなかったため、自分で原因を探ることにしました。
で、考えた結果、僕が思いついた原因は2つ、「体調」と「ストレス」です。

実は僕が若い頃から携わってる仕事は非常に不規則な業種であり、休みが飛ぶのも普通、夜間もいつ呼び出しがかかるかわからない、忙しくなると2～3日まともに睡眠すら取れない、そんな仕事を20代半ば頃から続けてきました。

体力には自信があったのですが、やはり体のリズムは崩れ、いつの間にか体や心に大きな負担がかかっていたんだと思います。
おまけにいつ仕事の呼び出しがかかるか分からないため、仕事が終わった後や休みの日でも常に一定の緊張状態にあったので、心がゆっくり休まることも無く、精神的なストレスもかなりあったのではないかと思います。
そしてそのストレスをごまかすために、お酒やタバコの量も増えていったように思います。

ところであなたは、お酒を飲んだりタバコを吸ったりしますか??
もしそうなら、できれば止めるか、もしくは量には十分気をつけるようにしてください。
僕はストレスによって量が増えてしまったのですが、僕の経験上お酒やタバコは偏頭痛を悪化させます。
お酒は少し嗜む程度ならまだ良いですが、特にタバコに関しては確実に僕の偏頭痛を悪化させました。
僕のようにストレスで止めれないという人もいるかもしれませんが、偏頭痛を治したいのであればタバコはできるだけ止めたほうがいいです。

その後僕は自分のできる範囲で睡眠をしっかり取るようにしたり、お酒やタバコを控えるなどして体調と共に毎日の生活リズムも整えていった結果、偏頭痛を大幅に改善することができました。
